And you also won&#8217;t set a deadline that&#8217;s way too far in the future, which could result in a waste of resources.<\/p>\n<p>Another major impact of the PERT Series on project deadlines is its help in identifying the critical path. The critical path in a project is the sequence of tasks that determines the shortest possible time to complete the project. Any delay in a task on the critical path will directly push back the project deadline.
